Weeds

Weeds, Fountain Square.

Most people see dandelions as weeds, but since diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer, I see them differently.

Each seed represents someone battling cancer. Many seeds are still holding strong, full of life and firmly attached, while others are losing their grip from endless surgeries, chemo, radiation and all the side effects. Some have been hanging on through all the ups and downs of the cancer journey and are struggling to stay attached. Eventually, these precious seeds are swept away by a warm gentle breeze.

God is our breeze carrying us home to be with Him in Heaven without pain and suffering.
